Nails Inc London Unicorns

So everyone knows I’m Nails Inc’s biggest fan, including my best pal, Mull, who treated me to this amazing Nails Inc gift set for my birthday this week.

The Nails Inc Beauty of Dreams Deluxe Unicorn Beauty Gift Set contains 2 sheet face masks, 1 peel off face mask, a lipstick, a lip gloss & 2 nail varnishes. The nail varnishes are Rainbow Wishes, an iridescent blue/purple/pink and Dream Dust, a pink and gold glitter.

These nail varnishes are soooo me, I love them so much, especially Dream Dust which I currently can’t stop staring at on my ring fingers.

Both nail colours were opaque in one coat, which I was surprised at for Dream Dust, as you usually have to work hard for full coverage glitter – however, not in this case!

I can’t wait to use the rest of the set – but for right now, photographs show how my nails turned out. In the photos I’m wearing one coat of Nails Inc Ridgefiller with Collagen base coat, 2 coats of colour and one coat of Nails Inc Kensington Caviar Top Coat with Collagen.

I’ve wanted these nail varnishes since they first came out, I’m loving my nails right now – let me know what you think!

Thanks Mull; you’re the best x

Essence Out Of Space Stories – 01 Outta Space Is The Place

OMG! I’m not sure how to describe this nail polish! It’s kind of an iridescent white/pink/green/purple colour. It reminds me of the opal ring I got for my 21st birthday. It’s perfectly pearlescent.

I’m so impressed with the quality of these Essence polishes, this one was only £2.00 from Wilko, and I personally think it’s comparable to the Nails Inc unicorn polish which is priced at £14.00.

Application was easy due to the shape of the brush and the quality of the polish which meant it was opaque after just one coat.

Photographs show a base coat, 2 coats of colour and a top coat.

Essence Party Princess

OMG, I’m so in love with my manicure and pedicure this week. Essence The Gel Nail Polish in no.07 Party Princess is, as the name suggests, a pink, sparkly delight! I’d not used any of the Essence nail polishes before, but I saw them in Wilkinsons the other day when I was buying bubble bath, and because they were so cheap and so cute I had to buy one. Obviously, being the girliest girl in Newcastle I was immediately drawn to this one. I think if my personality was bottled and sold in nail varnish form, it would look a lot like Party Princess.

Essence party princess is an opaque, jelly nail polish with flecks of multicoloured glitter. You could probably get it to be full coverage if you applied enough coats, but I applied it over 2 coats of Nails Inc Fiesta (a bright, showstopping pink). I really love the way the flecks of glitter look as the catch the light, all different colours as apposed to a uniform silver glitter you might find in similar nail polishes.

Application was really easy due to the flat, wide brush. I much prefer a flat brush to a round one, so that was a bonus in this nail polish. Party Princess is available to buy here, and is priced at only £1.60! Photographs show a base coat, 2 coats of Nails Inc Fiesta, 1 coat of Essence Party Princess and a top coat. I hope you like it as much as I do!

Nails Inc Crown Passage

This week’s manicure and pedicure is something super sparkly which I didn’t even know existed until the other day! Nails Inc Crown Passage is a black nail polish flecked with teeny tiny multicoloured pieces of glitter – it’s like a galaxy on your nails!

I found this nail polish in TK Maxx on Sunday for only £3.99! I’m so mega thrilled with it and it has become an immediate favourite! (I know, I know… I say that about almost all my new polishes!) I think this shade may have been limited edition as it is no longer available to buy on the Nails Inc website, although it is still for sale on Amazon. I’m already thinking that I may have to stock up while I can!

Application was smooth, although as this polish is quite runny the first coat did look slightly streaky, although this rectified itself with the application of a second coat and the colour evened itself out. I can’t stop staring at my nails as they look different in different light. I have tried to capture the colour as accurately as I can in these photographs which also show a base coat and a top coat.

I hope you like it as much as I do and thanks for reading!
